Since he got the tinniest bit of recognition. Ever since he did the solo work for Cinder's theme in the Killer Instinct reboot, he kinda blew up. Since then, instead of taking the time to make sure his shit is actually decent and sounds good, he's just become a content mill for shit covers. Since he started doing the schoolgirl outfit thing, I'm not a bit surprised to learn that he's pro troon. I wouldn't be surprised if he trooned out himself not too long from now.

That reminds me, I utterly despise Trash Taste after I clicked on one of their “highlights” and it was the most lukewarm, unentertaining take about anime of all time. None of those people have any charisma and they suck Hasan’s cock. They must’ve paid somebody because I got utterly spammed with their videos in my recommended.

Trash taste are some of the least talented, least interesting content creators I've ever seen. Everything from bragging about not needing or barely knowing Japanese to the coomer brained host is just the most effortless slop. And speaking of J-vloggers, I was subscribed to this broad for a short while after watching one of her videos (which now seems to have been unlisted or privated), but then I noticed that most of her content is like this and all of it is clickbait:

Holy sheet I can't believe a baka gaijin speaks Nihonjin-ese or Chinaman-go! She has put out over 400 videos, and over 100 of them seem to be about her shocking Japanese/Chinese/Korean people by speaking their language.

Whenever a Youtuber releases a low quality clickbait video where the entire point is that they shock locals in some non-Western country with their impressive (or in a lot of cases, "impressive") language skills, it makes me want to unsubscribe instantly. The worst ones are fake polyglot Youtubers who speak maybe one or two foreign languages well, and the rest of them barely, and they keep repeating the same stock phrases they've probably just ran through Google Translate in conversations with native speakers while tricking their subscribers into thinking that they actually speak those languages.

She's an interesting one. Her skills in Mandarin and Japanese are legit. Unlike most foreign J-tubers she can read and write in both at a high level. I've been following her for some time and have actually interacted with her online. I'm simpatico because we're both folks who aimed at more academic careers focused on Asia, but threw in the towel, for me because of 2008 economic crash and for her the COVID shutdowns.

She actually loathes the language clickbait that is the foundation of her channel's popularity and would like to do more deep interest cultural stuff and journalistic investigation, but it doesn't get the views or ad sponsorships. She keeps doing it because it pays better than most of the other work she could be doing, and has a great work-life balance, unlike most other foreigner jobs in Asia. She's a good 'un, better than most in that sphere, who over represent their language skills and shill absolute crap. She's pretty good at making sure which content in which by title and thumbnail, so I can avoid the crap that pays the bills and enjoy her interviews with interesting subjects. I don't begrudge her for the crap content that pays the bills. A job is a job for a reason.

I turned off the the latest Ghost Gum video after he started ranting about Le January 6th 'Coup attempt'. Yet another redditbrain trying and slowly failing at posing as an apolitical drama essayist.

I gave up on him about a year or so ago, and was sadly a longtime fan of his since the early 2020s as he was very much a spiritual successor to Internet Historian. Ghost Gum originally made a name for himself by uploading humorous video essays about internet lore, often by ridiculing soyboys, SJWs, and Redditors; I would compare his early stuff to Based If True. Then around 2023 he switched gears to making fun of celebrities and comedians, notably with a hateboner for Joe Rogan and his sphere, kind of like a less gay version of Beige Frequency. As of lately he's had terminal Musk Derangement Syndrome and is now going for an anti-anti-woke heel turn à la Dax Masterson. The irony is that he still uses a Sneedpost-inspired illustration as his YouTube avatar.

Not sure if he counts, but Vinny Vinesauce and the YLYL segment several months ago. I was on the fence about dropping him for some time since I feel he's gotten stale and repetative over the years, along with stepping on eggshells around his troon infested fabase. Him feeling as though he needs to pander the the YT algo (soyfaces, red arrows, semi-frequent yet rare facecams, clickbaity titles) to get views and collabing with other streamers/v-tubers more often also rubbed me the wrong way, but the YLYL cementeted it for me.

The submissions from the Trooncord themselves were hit-or-miss to downright cringe that even he said they needed to step it up by the end of it, but what really made me give up were 2 of his mods (one saying the quiet part out loud) damage controlling his subreddit when people complained that it sucked. It just signaled to me how desperate he's gotten by subjecting himself to such garbage these days.

Tons of his videos are filled with random pointless political jabs that add nothing to the video, everytime he covers anything released before 2008 he has to add the retarded disclaimer about how "it was a different time" and "he doesn't approve" and makes sure to let us know whenever the author is anything other than a neoliberal (being exceedingly petty in ender's game case telling people to pirate the book because the author doesn't like gays or whatever).

In the clockwork orange video he felt the need to let the audience know that while the book is good he doesn't approve of the rape in it, like no shit you fucking mongoloid, you're not supposed to approve of the rape in it.
