What video game makes you feel American

Ghost Recon Wildlands.

You get to go subvert a foreign government on flimsy justification, all on the say-so of a CIA officer.

It's a little more nuanced then that, but that isn't as funny.
Based & true. It is a good game, too. I honestly prefer Ghost Recon Breakpoint, even though it's still not as good as Wildlands.

GTA SA

Nothing more American than nigger eating fastfood and stealing cars
Very based. Was the first GTA I ever played.

It's time to kick gum, and chew ass- *hysterical laughter ensues*

Ghost Recon Breakpoint does it for me personally.

For being made by the Japanese, Metal Wolf Chaos is the most American game ever.
Michael Wilson is the greatest President in the history of these United States.

Also, I just realized in the game, he's the 47th President.

Real life has caught up to the "freedom was lost and only a renegade President can save it" timeline, with Trump in office... eat your heart out, Kojima :story:

I don't know

Wreckfest, despite 99% of it being set in Europe around a European sport.

Kirby's Dream Buffet.
A pink shapeless blob eats his way to victory.

This, though it was weird seeing a mishmash of Singapore and Thailand being the villain.
...Brunei. It's alt-Brunei, the language is Indonesian or something and it's an archipelagic petrostate.

I liked that it was an exotic setting.

N.A.R.C the final boss fucking rocks, America is synonymous with the war in drugs and you blow up drug dealers with a rocket launcher and can run over clowns that wield syringes.
Chiller, semi-banned light-gun arcade game, just pixilated gore but it's good for a laugh.
Carmageddeon
Splatterhouse
Postal 2
Most of 3d realms games (suffer doomtroons)
Spec ops the line.
Soldier of fortune
Thanks for reading my autistic rundown of my impression of what an american game is like.

BTW I want to confess I used the word archipelagic because I saw it today and wanted to use it
It was douchey

Red Dead Revolver and GUN from circa 2005. Quickdraw mode allowed you to essentially reach anime protagonist levels of quickdraw feats and the unabashed tribute to the American West was just, chef's kiss, beautiful and something that the world could have only experienced at that time under that very unique set of conditions. Beautiful memories of those games. Very Americana.
