What was the defining moment that made you quit a job?

It doesn't matter how petty or insignificant it seems, what was a moment you had at job that made you decide "This isn't worth it."?

(I'm stuck at a crappy job right now and keep justifying staying, so I'm looking for some motivation to quit.)

There's a reason for why people are becoming less trusting in people.
Sounds like you're just bitter over not exploiting someones kindness.
lol what kindness though? I don't care, I have a better job than that place now but my point is that there wasn't any kindness at all.

I know that wasn't me at the time, but what if someone else has their dad die, they're emotionally wrecked over it, they take a measly 3 days to get over the death of one of the most important people in their life and when they get back they're given the third degree because some snooty cunt thinks she's got your con figured out that you were just laying in wait for a parent to die so you could get a cool less-than-half-a-week vacation. It's an insanely shitty practice toward ones employees while they're, very likely, deeply grieving.
