What was the last thing you baked? - I’m making Christmas cookies in April

Made a tray of triple chocolate brownies, extra thick. Got eight decent sized pieces from the recipe (BBC good foods.) A friend was visiting for the night, so we dumped like 4oz of weed in the mix. They weren't mega potent, but gave us a solid buzz and chilled us out.

I then rationed the rest out over the week. What a wonderful way to fall asleep. I hate to think how many calories were in each though...

I made a cherry pie a couple weekends ago to commemorate my anniversary but found that I was short on cane sugar and also needed at least one more can of maraschino cherries because I bought too big of a pie plate.

When October rolls around, I'd like to go out to an apple orchard and buy all the gala apples I can pick so I can bake an entire season's worth of pies.

EDIT: Disregard this post, the last thing I baked was actually some potatoes with sunflower oil, salt, pepper and paprika. Burnt my tongue on the first but it was still worth it.

Lemon meringue pie. I forgot to take pictures but it's just as well because the meringue top didn't turn out as pretty as it normally does. It still browned nicely and tasted fine. I strongly recommend everyone here bake a lemon meringue pie.

I don't cook often, If I do cook its when I want to hang out with friends for an extended period of time.

That being said, I cooked some Gluten Free Pizza awhile back with a friend (she has an allergy) and it was surprisingly great.

Last thing I cooked by myself were some Pancakes for a Home Ec class back in High School.

I made these strawberry brownies which would be better described as strawberry cake bar things because there's nothing "brownie" about them other than maybe the texture. They were pretty good though so no complaints! They're also really easy to make, it's basically just a box of strawberry cake mix with some ratios changed up and a jam glaze.
Since one of my family members has a strawberry allergy I also made a version with lemon cake and blackberry glaze, the combination of flavors was really good.

So, did you make like the strawberry version of "lemon bars"?
I baked brownies two weeks ago. Warm brownie and vanilla ice cream.

The texture wasn't quite the same as lemon bars, there was still a cakey-ness to them. But I haven't made proper lemon bars in a while, maybe I need to do that.. Ah fuck, there goes my healthy eating plans!

Like every douchebag in America I started baking my own bread over the past year. You want to cut 5 dollars off your shopping bill and end up with better quality bread just look up that no-knead recipe from the NYT. It's extremely easy, takes all of 20 minutes of actual "work", and it tastes great.

The Chapel Pie from scratch yeah I know I may sound mentally slow because I'd never use punctuation but I can bake from scratch take that people who said I'd burn the house down
