There was a puzzle game I remember and can no longer find. You started with an empty globe on the screen and you had nine(?) objects on the right that you could click and drag onto it. There was an egg, a little whirly thing, some kind of spring (the water kind) and I think a power station. When you put something on the globe it would carry out a little animation and sometimes interact with other things already placed. The idea was to place things in the right order so that you could complete the evolution of everything and produce this big end sequence.

I can't remember what it was called, 80% certain it was done in Flash and every conceivable search term I can think of has a myriad of generic results "puzzle, flash, globe, egg"...

Anyone remember this? It had a weird little catchy tune when you played.

Anyone remember this weird platformer that was kinda a 2D-3D perspective thing?
Like it was a pretty conventional side scroller except you could rotate the board about the y axis and where you could move depends on your perspective of the facing 2D plane.
Sorry, it's kinda hard to describe any better.

That looks like an earlier version. The one I played was called Grow Planet and @HERE YOU GO and @Witthel already found it. Apologies to both for being offline for a while and not seeing their replies. Thanks for the Blue Maxima pointer. 👍

The game is indeed puzzling

Entirely off-topic but the Kaba always reminds me of the Pandorica from the first Matt Smith season of Doctor Who. I kind of want to see the Kaba open up and Amy Pond step out. That would be a turn up for the books!
