Whenever someone starts blithering about the 'right side of history' I like to tell them that people in the future will probably decide that owning pets is slavery and that we were all horrible monsters. It's amazing to watch their faces as they realize the possibility that all of their posturing might be for nothing in the end.

I'd say that we gave up the right of bodily autonomy in december and choosing what vaccines are injected into us, but by then history will have been rewritten and people won't even know.

I take the opposite view. People in the future will find us backwards for not considering children a-gender until they choose one at 12 years of age.

The future is fine and will have its own fucking loonies to worry about. Unless fucking Lavos pops up, I ain't worried about them. I think nothing will actually change tho and we do these decades where the world leans left or right and sorta wobbles. At worst, it'll start swaying further and further left or right, before swinging the other way.
