What would a global election look like?

Assuming every country on Earth united into a single federal state (and assuming it doesn't go to shit immediately) what would voting blocs, political parties, and voting patterns look like?
I've mused on this while writing political stuff for a sci-fi work. My idea is basically each country [or province, whatever they're called in this hypothetical global state] would serve as their population's polling place, handling the collection of votes and such [With plenty of oversight from the Democratic Republic of Earthistan so the Province of China doesn't try stuffing the ballots on the Neo-CCP's behalf.] and sending it all to one big international pool to be tallied. This would be a popular vote-style system, anyway.
Another idea I had before was an electorate-style system where each province polls their population, then casts an electoral vote based on who wins the election locally. [My opinion on electorates has greatly soured as I got older and wiser on the subject, however.]

It's either be encouraging more mandatory Poojeet territorial expansion, or eradicating Haitian niggers. Give 'em all shekels, goyim.

Almost every country with a functioning electoral system seems to have some flavor of a gibsmedat economically left party/coalition and a slightly more economically and or socially conservative right party. So I imagine those would be the major panglobal parties. Both tend to be pro top down big government or at least not actively champion philosophies of small government libertarianism/individual liberty which oftentimes seems to be an idea peculiar to America.

As in every parlimentary style system there would be jockeying for smaller parties to add to the coalition such as religious parties that want theocracy that would be centered in Africa and the Middle East and Green/SJW parties would arise in Western Europe and the Anglosphere.

I've never played the game, but I imagine it would probably be like "managed democracy" from Helldivers II.

A "Global Election" looks like the ones the EU have among their members to decide their leader.
Aka; your "representative" gets to vote in it, but you don't - "Representative" "Democracy" which is neither representative nor democratic.
A global Plebiscite would be an utter shitshow also.
Frankly, I'm against all forms of world governance while humanity is a single planet species.
There must be somewhere for dissenters to leave for, or else there is no choice but warring until everybody who disagrees with us is dead.
And I'm fine with that, but how many of you are?
