Jokes aside, what do you think would REALLY happen once Barb dies? Surely he would call 911 and probably bury her in the cheapest coffin possible with no funeral, but then what? Here is why I think Chris could not manage without Barb.
1. He would not be able to afford all the bills with his tugboat. Chris gets around $1300/ month, and Barb gets a little less, but combined they get a total of around $2,500. This is enough to pay the homes bills. But with Barb gone, her SSI goes away unless Chris cuts her up and stuffs her in the freezer to keep collecting her checks.
2. Chris would probably not know how to fix things such as leaky pipes if they break. 14 blc would be infested with mold of a pipe leaked.
3. With Barb gone, anyone could walk into 14 BLC as they please. Chris hates jerkops, and probably would not call them if someone broke in. He would cry and yell and curse Ye ha me ha, but that is pretty much it. Plus, he is too fat and slow to get to a phone before the burglars do. He could get raped, kidnapped, or even worse.
4. If Barb dies before she pays all the mortgage (very likely ), it could be passed on to Chris should he choose to stay in 14 blc after her passing. On top of bills and nessesities, he would not be able to afford it.
5. If Chris went back to jail, Barb would not be there to bail him out.

.
In general debts don't pass on to children

Once Barb dies, Chris would probably spend up all of her money until she becomes homeless and uses whatever she's got to buy McDonald's or whatever

1. Barb likely has life insurance, so that would cover the funeral.
2. Agreed.
3. Doubtful. Chris would call the jerkops but how does Barb stop them?
4. I agree. House will likely have to be sold. Even if Chris gets a nice life insurance payout (assuming she has it, which is a big assumption), I think Chris would first have to pay her debt as much as he can with the insurance and if not, he'd just blow it on toys
5. Yes

Barb would call the cops if anyone showed up at 14 blc, but Chris hates jerkops and wouldn't call them.

Barbs debt will die with Barb, the only thing Chris will have to pay for, is the mortgage and any loans that have his name on them.

Nah, in all SJW fashion he "hates" cops but won't doubt to call them as soon as something comes up.

True, but is he strong enough to get to a phone before the weens break them and tie him up?

Jerkops are mall cops who chased Chris off for solicitation, Chris has no problem calling actual police when needed.

Let's assume Barb dies without a will. Assuming she has life insurance (lulz), the life insurance *should* go into her estate, against which her personal debts will be offset. Chris gets half what's left over, since she has another surviving child who is entitled to inherit in equal shares. *Assuming* he is a co-signatory to the mortgage, that continues in force, unaffected. If her personal unsecured debt is larger than any life insurance she has, and/or any assets she has (note: the value of the Hoard is zero), Chris gets half of nada, nowt, fuck all, as the value of the estate is then reduced to nothing.

I agree with that, but considering the fact that she had to pawn a necklace to pay bills, don't you think she has already borrowed from her life insurance, if she even has it?
