What would you do if you could time travel back in time in 5 minute intervals but it took you an hour to do it each time?

So, basically, if you wanted to go back in time you would have to concentrate all your energy for the next hour to go back five minutes from where you started. For instance, if it was 3:00 pm and you wanted to go back to 2:55 pm, you would have to spend the next hour harnessing your power before you can time travel back to 2:55 pm.

But that's traveling back an hour and 5 minutes. Because if you can only travel back 5 minutes from where you are, you would start at 3:00, finish your concentration at 4:00 and travel back to 3:55.
You have to concentrate for an hour to go back five minutes from when you started concentrating. How is this hard to understand?

It's not hard to understand. My point is, why is it from when you started concentrating and not from when you finish? So you're technically traveling back an hour and 5 minutes. What keeps you locked in that to specific time? Also what if you keep concentrating, can you go back further?

Because your concentration can fluctuate and it might take you slightly more than an hour to harness all your energy. The reason it's from when you start concentrating is so you don't end up at like 3:01 and waste an hour of your life.

Wait for lottery numbers to get announced, time travel back to the point where I can still purchase a ticket

Assuming you continue aging despite traveling back in time this would be a relatively useless power to have, otherwise I'd just time travel back years and achieve zen in the process with all the focusing required.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just go play roulette or craps at a casino? You can go big and lose it all at infinity. The gamaba would never end bro.
I think (but not sure) that a casino can "kick you out" (politely) if you start winning too much.

And I assume some games have a betting limit, so you'll have however many "strikes" before you get their attention. You'll also have to start immediately concentrating after losing for those 5 minutes, but you probably won't be able to do at the table, you'll have to run to the bathroom or something.
