Buy land in the country but close enough to the city to get good broadband and not have to drive an hour to get groceries, build a house. Hire a housekeeper. Adopt cats, knit, shitpost, annoy my husband. So basically my current life, but with fewer neighbors. Maybe take up gardening.

With the extra money, because what I'm talking about doesn't take that much, I'd probably set up some sort of pet food bank. There's one in my area, and I think that's fantastic.

With enough cash I could pay off anyone who tries to use regulations or fines to make things less fun.

Many things, it would be mostly just helping others.

It would be amazing to buy homes/pay off mortgages for the people I care about, but I'd do it secretly so no one would ever know it was me.
The only hint they'd have is that I'd also buy myself a home like this:

First, it covers my tracks and gives plausible deniability that our fortunes were changed by a mysterious benefactor and I was just one of the people on the list.
Second, I just really want a home innawoods, man. It's come up a lot in this thread, but I'd love to have a place that's small and cozy. Someplace near enough to civilization, but far enough I can see the stars at night.
