What would your ideal city look like?

I've often been hanging out at the Urbanist thread where retards want to enact their authoritarian worldview on everyone else, so I've got cities on my mind.

But you are not an authoritarian retard, so what would YOUR ideal city actually look and be like? There are going to be the obvious things—certain demographics kept to a minimum, a city council that is not corrupt, and cost of living is not hilariously over the top, but what would your city actually be like?

For me, it would be a smaller town in America within an hours' drive of both the mountains and the beach, rainy sometimes but not often humid. There would be freeways and interesting railroad crossings, but mostly flat save for a few hills and low areas. A river runs through it.

The economy would be based on a lot of warehouses and manufacturing, similar to America in the 1950s and 1960s, but it pays well, and white-collar jobs are plentiful.

The city doesn't take well to chain restaurants and stores, most of them are high-quality local establishments that you've never heard of. The few chains usually have some sort of quirk to them, even the local McDonald's restaurants have additional menu items.

As far as the city format goes, the grid-square pattern just makes sense if you are building upon a new place.

However if every block looks the same, that can be a little weird. But that’s why cities should be bedroom communities and suburbs and agrarian towns should be where people go. Not just to work, but play and spend money on entertainment as well.

The notion of 15-minute cities sounds more like a prison colony more than a convenience.

How old are you?
If I'm assuming correctly your implied message (that it's a childish or unrealistic concept due to its complexity in regards to politics, economics, etc), I don't agree with it.

This stuff is so creative and enjoyable to think about, you can have your imagination run wild. I like to think of a city that takes similar styles in regards to architecture and design as the movie "Spirited Away".

Mine is a more simplistic idea, but it's fun to conceptualize.

No, I meant the op reads like something a kid may have written. Seeing as OP has over 5000 posts, I guess it's whatever. Enjoy the thread... just remember:

Live fee or die. Optimally, in the city of your dreams, then.

I'm over 30.

Of course it's not a serious or realistic topic; don't be a killjoy.

EDIT: 5000 posts and the other 5000 I had on my 2014-2022 account (I didn't post as much in those days).

Amsterdam infrastructure, plenty of trees and parks, open public spaces without cars total nigger death. you cannot have public spaces that actual people will use if some african nigger is screaming at someone over face time. a transit system is useless if hobos use the bus stops as shelters and the actual street cars as cottages.
The bus stop i walk past when going to the store is like this, the area is now covered in garbage and the sidewalk is stained black from god knows what,

When I created this account, I accumulated a thousand posts in a year. I genuinely thought that was too much, but now that I see other users post count, I feel relieved that I wasn't as bad as some of the other users.
WTF else can you do when you're like me and stuck waiting for hours for the final language regarding the 7th subsequent amendment and waiver of the Second Amended and Restated Loan and Security Agreement? Or a fucking blended asset/stock transaction with a half-assed PPA, kill me now.

Also yes, I have to read all the hundreds of pages of this nonsense with incredible detail. Otherwise I'll likely have to deal with legal issues and possibly the courtroom and I don't like that. I didn't go into contract law to be in front of a judge.

Kill cities. Behead mayors of cities (and niggers, too). Roundhouse kick a city (and its niggercattle population) into the concrete. Nuke a city from orbit. Glass cities with kinetic energy weapons. Build more highways to make cities choke on their own pollution. Reroute rivers to flood cities. Overload nuclear power stations near cities to melt them down. Report cities to the IRS. Upload the geolocation of critical city infrastructure on the internet so the nation's enemies can feed it to their nuclear missile's targeting systems. Import more niggers to make cities unlivable hellholes. Crush cities in the trash compactor. Drown cities in fried chicken grease. Vaporize cities with ray guns.

I'm a consumate fatphobe so my ideal city would lend itself well to fitness and fresh food sources.

I'd want to have enough sidewalks and bike paths to make getting around the city safe for people on foot, a bike, skateboard, scootypuff, etc...
Maybe a meandering route that links various parks and natural areas together where you could make your route as efficient or as long as you want. This route could be used for 5k and 10k runs on occasion. It would be really great to have a safe path leading out of the city as well.

Farmland nearby and some kind of fishing industry would bring in fresh produce and protein to an easily accessible farmers market. Public heath campaigns would urge people to encourage the fitness of others by shouting "Go jog, fatty!" at overweight residents.
