It would be smart of Null to keep registration closed, and only open it for a month at a time, 2 or 3 times a year. That way you get fresh blood but also force new would-be users to lurk and absorb some of the culture.

Unironically for real. 99% of the users from 2013-2017 are either banned, ran because of doxing or just haven't logged in. Without new users, this place would be a tiny echo chamber of 20+ old fags.
Newfags are essential to keeping a site alive. As much as oldfags will bitch and moan the opposite.
Also oldfags are more obnoxious than newfags, just saying
