What YouTube channels do kiwifarmers watch? - Just wondering

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Tech channels, mostly ETA Prime and Moore's Law is Dead. Some alien/UFO channels such as Need to Know, NewsNation (Reality Check), and The Good Trouble Show, providing me plenty of material for the thread. NASASpaceflight when SpaceX launches Starship.

However, I'm making an effort to reduce my YouTube usage and find replacements on Rumble, Odysee, or elsewhere. It's not going well at all, but a few big channels are republished there, such as Gamers Nexus on Rumble and Hardware Unboxed on Odysee. I'll start watching Louis Rossmann more because he's a gem.

The Why Files, Mr Mythos, Wendigoon, Sourcebrew, historical-ish
Internet Historian (and his spinoff channels) Choopo
Ambiguous Amphibian, Manlybadasshero, Dungeon Chill, Indiemaus, SNES drunk
Ordinary Sausage, brutalmoose, North of the Border
Techmoan, Retail Archaeology

I hate about half of these though

FUNKe, MattKC, Acai13, A Wise Moose/GuitarHeroROXS and Ratlobber are the first ones that come to mind

I like Dave's Garage, Townsends, and a check out a few guntubers like Garand Thumb and Kentucky Ballistics when they put out videos on rare or unique guns. For drama I stick to Kino Casino clips, and from time to time, I watch vtuber translations by Neko Mikuri, and Pekosubs. I used to watch more vtuber stuff but a lot of the newer stuff just feels cringe and self aware, and I cannot tolerate any english speaking vtubers at all, so those two are the only ones I watch because their videos have high quality editing.

i like car videos a lot, i enjoy watching them explain how the car feels and the childish enjoyment they get from it. usually the people who make the best ones are autistic and very direct in their videos, they generally don't have a lot of editing and are always straight to the point.

doug demuro
scotty kilmer
zygrene
savagegeese
gears and gasoline
harry's garage
collector car feed podcast (vehicular cumtown basically)
and 20 subscriber uploaders who have rare / obscure cars i'm interested in

unrelated to cars, my actual favorite channel is urban rescue ranch, he's an awesome guy who spends 24/7 taking care of cool animals on a property that used to belong to crackheads

Oldschool runescape videos, Gilienor Games at the moment
This season of GG is great. I'm rooting for Settled.

Alot of my feed is bodycam and true crime stuff. Red tree stories is decent. EWU is good. This is Monsters and like dozens of random bodycam channels. Matt Orchard is good too.

For osrs stuff I enjoy: Settled, Framed, and Souprs. Oh and huge shout out to Alien Food's series, Unguided.

Why Files is also good listening. There's less paranormal/ufo stuff out there now compared to like mid 2000s youtube with grainy and shaky footage. Buzzfeed Pararnormal for being a product of Buzz feed was really good.

Oneyplays is great. The most noteworthy thing to watch are Zach compilations. I should go back and watch some of their older stuff again with Dingdong and Julien.

If you read One Piece you might also like Tekking101. Once you get past the cringe he gives off he seems like a really good and passionate sperg who doesn't use clickbait.

Forgotten History is solid. It's history being told from some really cool army vet guy.

America Uncovered & China Uncensored

ODS too. They do some funny shit like firing guns that have been frozen in ice or encased in concrete. They build funny little contraptions, or sometimes try to beat Halo in strange locations.

I'm not going to list every channel I watch or even all the ones I watch the most, but one channel I find interesting is Tech Tangents. It's a retro channel that really dives into some really obscure shit and is one of the few channels does all his video production with a linux machine. I followed his channel fairly early on when there were only a few videos of his and had previously done a collab with the channel "druaga1" (and thus some people at the time were calling him druaga2).

Unusual Videos makes the highest quality meme compilations.
Bobby Fingers is a multimedia mastermind.
Etho is not only the best Minecraft Youtuber, but the best Youtuber in general.

Aliantos, Nana825763/Piropito, VSauce, Bill Wurtz, danooct1, stgggs, wafflepwn, Ashens, Justin Kuritzkes, NickWit, MattKC, PilotRedSun, RadioClambake, Tom Scott, The 8-Bit Guy, Decino, Tourettes Guy, Simon Roper, NativLang, Langfocus, Tehsnakerer, Random Madness, and Bisqwit.
Though I will admit to being guilty of being subscribed to Vivziepop, Cinemassacre, dnsl, Shawn K and his fat friend Matt, and WavyWebSurf.

Forgotten Weapons
The Report of the Week (aka. Reviewbrah)
Krinkels

AllinAll, a weirdo animator with a trippy series based on the Elder Scrolls. He's also working on an animation based on God Emperor of Dune. Some might know him for Pelinal: Animated Opera.

Tasting History, a flaming gay man who talks about history and historical recipes. Very fun, though I know some people have visceral reactions to even knowing that there are men who exist who stick their penises in other men.

Reggie, or as I like to call him, Discount/Canadian Sseth. He doesn't really do what Sseth does but he's totally aping his mannerisms and I don't care. Guy's decently entertaining, if a little normie.

Warlockracy, Russian autist who likes old RPGs and likes talking about them. Sometimes talks about the history, politics and culture of the slavlands, mod projects, vidya. Has a two hour long video playing Fallout: Sonora. It's good.

Harmful Opinions, British autist who plays vidya and reacts to internet drama for his and others' amusement. Makes some of the most entertainingly bizarre similes I've ever heard. Briefly disappeared from Youtube after Sargoy and his ilk shouted him down for daring to question their shady sponsor.

Shrouded Hand, British probable autist who does what Nexpo does but better. Has a hilarious accent.

Sometimes I check out normie shit for a moment, no gaming videos or breadtube stuff though.

If you already play games I don't understand watching gaming content unless the person just brings you nostalgia or comfort or has a great personality.

Still, no gaming videos for me.

I like to watch cooking/hobby videos for inspiration sometimes.

So I provide an actual suggestion rather than just words, here's an interesting channel by Darien Long. He was a mall security guard at a shitty mall in the ghetto of Atlanta and it's pretty hilarious seeing him rightfully powertrip. There is hours of crazy ghetto content here to watch. It's a mildly interesting rabbit hole.

He gets a gun flashed on him in this video:
