What’s better? Mozzarella sticks or cheese curds? - Or, alternatively, what kind of fried cheese is the best?

Cheese curds are #1 but when I have the chance I get that Greek fried cheese, saganaki.
Thing is, both have to be served hot so you have to *shudders* go out.
