What's one skill you wish you had?

I have some sort of wires crossed where I can't navigate with a map. I have pretty good navigational skills without them, but I'm dependent on the use of visual landmarks when giving or receiving directions, and have never been able to visually map roads or remember highway/street names.

I wish I could go through US military training without having to spend four years in a desert shithole forcibly circumcising dune coons and laying the foreskins at the feet of the reptilians directly responsible for every single thing wrong with my country.
Realistically you're unlikely to see any combat, you'll sit in garrison doing gay shit until you have a field exercise, then you'll deploy to some place we have no reason to be and do garrison shit/ field exercises just without the benefit of being in the U.S. The biggest risk factor is getting a dishonorable discharge because you keep misgendering a higher up, or catching a false rape accusation because some woman wants a free transfer to a new unit.
If you just struggle to break away from the abundance of distractions and find time for it, I've had success just forcing it into situations where I have nothing else to do. Currently I bring a book into the gym and just read between my sets, I also get an extra hour on Saturdays since the gym opens an hour after I get off work.
