Bought a Wii when they were brand new and ended up fucking hating it. Hated the janky ass controls. Couldn’t stand the mountains of shit games and only one or two I found worth playing. Ended up giving it and my games to my younger brother because it was just a waste of time and money.

I don't *completly* regret buying Duolingo Plus because I use it daily and was willing to hand that stupid owl my first-born child to get the goddamn ads to stop, but I found out quickly that most of the Plus benefits are things already present in the desktop site. The app is great for the convinence but literally all you need on the desktop is an adblocker AND when using the site you aren't punished for making mistakes in lessons.
