Reddit support forums for the heartbroken look like a bunch of people digging each other into a giant grave since they all look like big moping fests.

On the other hand, there's Incels.is which...

In between them are places like /r9k/ and /adv/. The former is too horny to be rational while the latter is barely responsive and it's easy to walk out empty-handed.

This site is not meant to be in the "in between".

Does there actually exist the true source of enlightenment I'm asking for?

(sigh) If you really, really want to talk with (flawed and lacking an alarming amount of non-organic parts) humans, there are subreddits specifically built for that, not the moping ones though.

Like there's several, maybe r/KindVoice? You need to understand though, usually on the Internet you'll get far less attention if they percieve that you are a male (specially on Reddit), so your post on there may not get someone interested.

Even though I have never used this, seems like you can not only post for someone to listen to you, but also look for people offering it (according to their subreddit: [L] = Looking for a Kind voice; [O] = Offering a Kind voice).
Seems that they also have r/KindFriend, but less popular, but it's another one.

There is also r/lonely, people in there congregate for several reasons, which should include "heartbroken" folks, or that simply want to chat. Just don't be an idiot an establish a conversation with a bored zoomer, or someone whose post is nearly empty. However I'm getting better vibes from r/KindVoice, so maybe see how that one is first?

For some reason the pic of that arachnid's feet triggered something deep in my brain meat, but it's extremely vague. That's a rose foot, pink foot, rose toed, pink toed, something like that tarantula?

I believe pinktoe tarantula is correct, although upon further inspection they look horrific when your not just looking at the paws.

Unironically true. It's normal to feel sad but once you think about it logically she did you favor. Don't waste time, effort, resources, and energy on poor investments, that includes relationships. That goes for any relationship, by the way, including friends & family. I found out a cousin was a huge liberal and just blocked her on Facebook. Liberals get the woodchipper, no exceptions.
