What's the deal with this archetype I see everywhere?

I imagine the walker is a "muh fibromyalgia" the rest is just par for the course tumblr cognitohazard, and really the "muh fibromyalgia" shit also falls inline with it in the "fabricated illness" department.

Only on KiwiFarms so far have I read of this phenomenon, for neither in the real world nor any other space online have I come across this sudden surge of women using walkers who clearly don't need them. Could very well be an area-specific thing.

I've seen a few young women with canes. Some women under 60 with walkers and oxygen. But it's impossible for me to know if they don't need them. OP should check out the Munchausen's by Internet thread. These women do exist. They aren't that common though. You might just live in a munchie zone.

Any wild stories?

I see it every day. The smartphone was a stroke of satanic genius. This shit wouldn't be around without it. It's munchausens by internet.

It's part of the combo platter. They'll also claim Ehlers Danlos, POTS, muh thyroid and various other afflictions. Then they start accumulating toys. Walkers, canes, wheelchairs, feeding tubes and the almighty poorly trained and mistreated service dog. One of them even has a service mini horse. Did you know that horses can't hold in poop? When they gotta go they just go. :cryblood:

There was a munchie that infected her legs so badly that they had to be amputated. And several have succeeded in munching themselves to death. It's just not worth it for some extra attention on the internet.

Met one with the service dog. She introduced herself, frog voice and all, with "he/it" pronouns.
My theory was that taking testosterone can cause joint pain, but the research I'm doing right now does not back it up. It does fuck with your bones in general though, which can cause leg pain.
