What's the lowest stakes JRPG?

I haven't played through it very far, but I assume Mario Golf doesn't introduce any violence or political themes, the stakes seem to be "win at golf". I can't imagine lower stakes.

Adventure Bar Story. From what I remember, you're just going for the position of top-rated restaurant in the kingdom.
Yeah but you still fight monsters, which is a matter of life-and-death, pretty high stakes.

I know, but from the opening post, I took it to mean more overall stakes, rather than moment-to-moment ones. You could say that all JRPGs have high stakes because people in them could just die in a house fire at any moment, or be kidnapped by bandits, lol.

If house fires were part of the story then sure but that's a given in every game, so it's the bare minimum stakes lol. Then you just add the other stakes on top, so you now have implied house fires and monsters, which is still higher stakes then since you have both. Funny topic when you break it down that way.
