What’s the worst meme of the decade?

Anything wojack should have died years ago. A long while ago, people made a few decent jokes out of it but now it mutated into basically just this. A child's form of arguing.

Freeze peach, I thought it was a joke about unrealistic expectations from subreddits at first, until it soon became apparent the people pushing it actually hate the first amendment.
I too support the right to lie, slander, make verbal death threats and call to arms.

Anything involving "trans rights" or "Hatsune Miku making X" is not only horribly unfunny, but similar to another view I have on a phrase/term, I feel that whenever people say the former, ever, or the latter when someone big says an oopsie, it doesn't do a damn thing to help the trans communities or trans people.
The random "FUCK YEAH TRANS" memes are just the worst thing. Especially when you have an IRL friend who's a pretentious film twat who has recommended/disliked consooming media because "Fuck yeah, trans rights!"/"Like that's so transphobic? Yikes. What is this, the 90s?" Dude isn't even trans or on the way to trooning out.

Big Chungus, Ugandan Knuckles, The Hot Dog filter, pretty much any "mascot" type meme is just flavor of the week trash. (flavor of the month is only if you're really lucky)
Fuck me, I completely forgot about hotdog boy. That was one of the most forced things ever. I used to be active on r/The_Donald until 2017 and I remember posters theorizing it was a distraction from some Hillary thing, but my memory is fuzzy on what exactly.

While I don't think it's the worst meme, the
"1950s: 'we'll have flying cars in the future'
2019:"
meme annoys the fuck out of me since I keep seeing it spammed in comment sections and it isn't funny.
I also think left-wing political memes like Trans Rights or Gritty or Freeze Peach are pretty unfunny too.
OK, I know this might sound dumb, but what is freeze peach?

Memes are essentially internet inside jokes. There was a time when the internet was a much more contained pool of autists... and the memes that came up with were funny and original... But now literally everyone and their mother uses the internet.

You pop those famous white letters over something recent in pop-culture, and because it originated from the internet; it’s a meme. I had a uncle and an aunt at Christmas dinner who were talking about their knowledge on ‘memes’ which was given to them by their TikTok using turbonormie kids.

I feel like the Reddit faggots who sensationalized memes and turned it into this whole autist carnival ruined a decent bastion for comedy in a PC/Ultra-Progressive age. Take Baby Yoda, for example... Corporations have taken hold of this sensationalized idea and are now utilizing it to sell you more fucking shit. It takes the edge off the funny when I feel like I hear Disney saying “laugh at our puppet, manchild. Buy Disney+ for more mEmEs LmAO”

My favorite memes came from you fucks... or some other shit I saw on some other message board. I couldn’t pick any one in particular because there’s so many

tl;dr
2019 was a shitty year for ‘memes’ because normies reeeeee

A bit of an addendum on the "Miku made X" meme. I have come to realize that people will attribute a lot of success to one person. So Miku making Harry Potter and Minecraft not only is erasing Rowling and Notch from their creations, but also, writers, actors, composers, programmers, etc. who worked on both these projects.
