Basquiat is probably the most famous (especially in Current Year), but I wouldn't call him "the worst". He was like an edgelord version of Joan Miro; he had a fun energy, and his colors are often vivid and eye-catching, which is more than you can say for a lot of his contemporaries.

Also, I'd say that $42 million work is one of his better pieces.
