What's your avatar? thread

My avatar is some pixel art I made of the most important makeup advice guru on the internet.

A Ford Aerostar virtually identical to the one Chris-chan tried to kill Michael Snyder with.

There is a blue 1990s Ford Escort in the background, making me think it was a pic stolen from PVCC during the break-in, but it's a hatchback, Son-Chu was a wagon.

An extremely crazy Pacer.

AMC designed the car around a Wankel rotary engine, but Mazda trumped them by patenting the metallurgy of the oil seals of the rotor tips. AMC was thereby forced to use a standard reciprocating piston engine that was far larger than the rotary would have been. It stuck into what should have been the cockpit space (enlarging the dashboard/console) and made the front seats absolutely horrible to sit in and/or see out of. That someone could stuff a big-block into one and make it powerful enough for stock-car drag racing boggles the mind.

The second iteration of the AMC Randall 401 (first was a Gremlin) used a Pacer as a donor, and looked from the outside almost stock other than the "Randall 401" letters on the lower doors. It had a 401 V8 out of a Matador in it.

I almost bought a 1977 Pacer a couple months ago, needed a radiator and had the 304 V8 option, inside was red cloth, fake wood and shag carpet with Kraco 6x9 speakers and a Kraco AM/FM/8-track, identical to the setup in my van (minus the inline fuse to the stereo since it was originally a radio-delete option, and the Jensen EQ/amp on top of the dash), my sweetbolt talked me out of it since it had no air conditioning and no provision for the cab fan my van has.

You live in Oregon. You don't live in Texas like I do where air conditioning is a must have if you seriously want to live. You should have gone for it.

Or you could have done what I did with my Suburban when the AC would go out and just roll the windows down and fan yourself with something at red lights.

Very true, yet Pacers get very hot inside over the summer (and according to my sweetbolt, it can be pushing a hundred degrees at 95% humidity here in the summer). I still regret not buying it.

Taking a break from Red because Adell's the best.

Also, the tie makes me look professional, and that's important for a manajerk.
