One of my favorites from where I was raised is "just sayin'" which we either begin or end a highly incendiary but accurate observation about a person to their face with and for some reason it diffuses any tension the statement would normally cause.

'The devil beating his wife' was used by my grandmother to describe rain and sunshine simultaneously.

"Bunny hug" is what people in Saskatchewan call hoodies. It's so delightfully retarded.

In my country we have the "Black pepper is only good on other people's assholes."
It means that a sad/funny/bad situation is only entertaining when it's other people who are dealing with it, not yourself.

There's a saying where I live reserved for people who have no aptitude in whatever it is they're trying to do - "their hands grow out of their asshole".

Example: Did you hear about Bob? He tried to change the oil in his car but somehow managed to strip out the oil pan threads. That dude's hands grow out of his asshole, for real.

"Dude" is the best, it went from a southern California surfer slang to one of the most common ways people refer to men in an informal way. I love when brits do it it's so cringy.

"Can't find his/her ass with a map and a flashlight"
"Meaner than a one-eyed snake"
"wish in one hand, crap in the other, see which piles up first"

''Fuck my horn'' is something we use where I live for when something absurd/fucked up/infuriating happens.
