Honestly I think trying to guesstimate when Phil falls is fruitless. It's like the next GRRM book, it's always next year.

But if I had to gues's probably 2019 or 2020. He ALWAYS scrapes by, taxes or escorts, it has to be something huge to shut him down. Only time it could be sooner is if he gets banned from twitch.

So even if he doesn't get sent to prison, Phil is going to have problems caused by the IRS regardless.

I now change my prediction to this: the tax problem will be what causes the financial apocalypse for Phil and finally does him in. If he doesn't off himself from it, it finally forces him to go out and work a real job like a normal person.

Either way, the long saga comes to an end.

However this ends, Phil wont get a normal job, I bet he goes on disability for his back.

The short term is so full of drama that his life sounds like some TV show, to the point where trying to predict what happens in the next "episode" is a fruitless endeavor. Whatever hilarious or outrageous things we come up with pales in comparison to what he actually does.

Long term however, he is utterly fucked. If he weren't a textbook narcissistic personality and didn't love himself so much, I would legitimately place bets on him an-hero'ing -- it's that bad. Why? Well he lies about damn near everything, but I don't think he's lying about his financial spending habits. Him being buried in debt incurred by going credit card crazy is one line from him that I can believe. He has also admitted that he has no plan-B or long term strategy, just a day-to-day in the moment strategy. That philosophy does not benefit you as you get older, especially in relation to finances. He is absolutely banking on his parents leaving him some sort of inheritance that he'll try to live off of for the rest of his life. Problem is his shitty lifestyle and health choices are going to hit him like a fucking freight train as he gets older. I mean he already looks terrible for his age, and he's only half way through his 30's. Any money he thinks he's going to use to live a life of luxury is going to go towards medical expenses. He will live his twilight years as a penniless, (likely) obese trainwreck. And his hostile, shitty attitude will mean he'll be one of those people who stubbornly refuse to listen to the advice of doctors, which will only make his medical problems all that much worse.

And we've all seen what a complete little baby he is when it comes to hard work or discomfort of any kind, so he definitely won't take any of this well. He'll be actually miserable, instead of "miserable" because he didn't get to sleep a few extra hours after playing videogames and watching wrestling until 5 AM. With how set he is in his ways and his absolute refusal to change his lifestyle, it's practically inevitable at this point.

I went with 2023. Phil is called the pigroach for a reason. He somehow always manages to attract some paypigs to keep him afloat, so it's hard to say but 5 years down the line seems reasonable enough (though I wonder how many people in 2013 said the same thing). Kat will long be gone by then and he won't find a replacement, staying in his crumbling McMansion all by himself and posting microwave dinners on the Pigstagram. How it'll all end? Phil will get bored and just vanish one day. No announcement, no final stream to thank everyone for supporting him, nothing like that.

Went with sometime in 2018;

This year is really different for him as his youtube is dead if its at $1 CPM he is getting $40 a day this is in March applied sometimes less than that is $1240 in 2017 he made about 40k but his views were a lot higher thus generating more income. This month on Twitch is easily one of his worst in a while more so than Feb he will barely scrape $2400 most likely including subs. His Patreon is a graveyard at currently $748 this combined is $4388. Before he has got about 7k.

So his finances we know the CT condo is at about 1k - 1.5k and the house is about the same, he is barely paying for the houses at this point and with his credit spending is stupid. Including the internet bills etc. He has no savings so he is literally drowning at this point. He lives way beyond his means but hey ho

It'll be when Phil decides to play his health issue trump card for pity money a second time.

He'll do it once, it'll work, then he'll try it again. Whatever fanbase he has left, if he even has one at all currently, won't fall for it.

One potential downfall would be if he actually went on a vacation right after April. It would be VERY hard, especially with more paying viewers getting agitated, to not tie "muh taxes" fundraising to that if he's dumb enough to actually do it.

I give him till 2020. By then only his dumbest paypigs will not have left him for fresher slop elsewhere, and he'll be forced to either get a job at mcdonalds (unlikely) or get on disability for his bad back.

And if Kat stays with him against her better judgement, he'll likely be 600 pounds by 2020.

He'll likely never go away himself. He'll keep vlogging or instagramming at the very least to spite all those evil detractors who wronged him throughout the years. All the way till he either goes to jail, or drops dead because his shitty health habits would catch up to him.

This guy will do anything to not work another day in his life, and who knows, maybe another, more efficient way of jewing your fanbase that manages to top both patreon and twitch will become available in a few years to save his ass again.

As for the poll, the autism storm around dsp should be considered a renewable source of energy.

I'll give him until 2019. He may have his fans and supporters now, but sooner or later, most of them will have been either banned, insulted, or otherwise alienated by Phil's bullshit and will stop giving him money.

And that's if he doesn't get his Twitch taken down. Either way, he's screwed.

Once he no longer has a decent income source, then what will he do? Neither Youtube or Twitch have retirement benefits, like a pension or a 401k, so he will live most of his life in poverty.

He will either have to sell his house or live there until it's foreclosed on, so he will have to move back to his CT condo, or move back with his parents. Once his parents are dead, if he ever recieves an inheritance, most of it will go to the massive debt he has.

He'll never stop. He'll start pulling disability and basically become a drunken Chris-Chan.

Kat seems decent, but she'll get pushed to her breaking point and cut and run eventually.

Of course knowing DSP whatever happens will be 3000% more ridiculous but I think I've got the next few years pretty well sketched out.

2018.
Everyone knows the meme about Phil surviving forever, but this year is a bit different.
  1. backtaxes
  2. kat expenses
  3. YouTube has made less money for him than ever previously
  4. Patreon is down by a large amount
  5. 3-4 large supporters have all found better shit to do
  6. reduced level of tips/cheers over time because there are better streamers out there
  7. people not being as interested in him because he spends an hour every day discussing his taxes and then explaining to people already using twitch how they can tip/cheer/sub/patreon/teespring even though its already written.
I'm having a hard time believing at the current rate he'll even make as much as he thinks he will by mid April but he's really starting to fade off, especially when you look at all of those things combined.

Even if he manages to pay off what he owes in April, he still has plenty of tax payments due. He's making less than on Twitch now and YouTube is making less and less each month. Eventually its going to reach a point where he can't make his multiple debt payments on time and that's when he's going to have to sell the house.

I think once he sells the house, it'll mean taking 2-3 weeks off at the very least and I think he might actually reach a point where he decides he doesn't want to do this shit anymore.

Unless he really changes the way he does his streams, there doesn't seem to be any way that he's going to be able to make it work and the problem is that he doesn't make any effort to change things up. But this is already known, his own fans give him valuable advice and he takes none of it.

this exactly.

also twitch has no 401k. health care. or retirement benefits. his twitch is slowly dying as well. once its been like 5 straight months of more low cheers and not reaching the sub goal he will realized he really is fucked.

and even more fucked because at this point in his life he cant get another job. No college education, has not worked in over a decade, and once the employers do a back ground check and run his name they wont go anywhere near him

Honestly I think trying to guesstimate when Phil falls is fruitless. It's like the next GRRM book, it's always next year.

him being with kat increased his life span by just a little bit. cause with what he is making there is no way he would have enough to pay for all his other bills like his car, electric, heat/ac etc. her pitching in is for sure helping a ton

Phil's full time streaming career ends only when he's forced to do so. He will not move on willingly. He's comfortable with his current situation & absolutely dreads the thought of getting a job. What I think happens is his revenue continues to dwindle forcing him to sell the house either this year or next. His income will stablize at a level that allows him to rent an apartment but still stream full time. From then on he continues to stream indefinitely. I could even see him being forced to get a job & continue to stream part-time. The ego stroke he gets from being darksydephil is too valuable to him to ever give it up.

Having thought about i think Phil's health may be his downfall, he's morbidly obese, eats shit, never exercises, and is constantly stressed, he's at risk of heart disease, diabetes, heart attack and god knows how many other illnesses, like i've said before this will not end well for him.

does Phil think he's going to be streaming on twitch when he's like 70 years old? I guess he's counting on collecting his soulmaid's retirement instead.

To reference a meme that I feel has died now. "You'll never see it comiiiiiiiiiiing" Phil has had many lucky breaks and opportunities bail him out of his bad life skills. So his demise will also more than likely come from something out of left field. And the irony is it won't be his detractors or trolls who do it (as they are ironically keeping him getting donations.) it'll likely be a twitch suspension out of nowhere. Then a bill in the mail, or his condo in Connecticut gets fucked, or his Washington condo does, something so off the wall it will be his "Last Surprise"
