Shut up glowie, I'm not telling you about my sleep schedule

Around 2AM. I have to be at work around 9, but I also have a significant other, a desire to keep fit resulting in time at the gym or (weather permitting) on a trail, and a number of hobbies and interests. If I slept a full 8 hours, one of those things would have to suffer. I seem to do just fine on 5 or 6 hours of sleep anyway.
There is a subsection of people, I believe estimated at 2-5% depending on the region, that appear to sleep more effectively and thus can sleep for periods of 5-6h without negative effect. You could be right.

I hit the hay between 23:00 - 00:00 (11pm to 12AM for those who still subscribe to british timekeeping) and get up between 07:00 and 08:00. I seem to wake up a few minutes before my 8 hour alarm every time.

I work 8:15a-4:45p but am pretty involved in my social life and my church so I had to self-impose a 10pm curfew recently. I get to sleep around 11:30 now which is okay, but I'd like it to be earlier so I'm not rushing to get ready in the mornings.

I'm *usually* in bed by 10 and ideally fall asleep around 11, but that depends on how bad my family is snoring by that time. Staying asleep is based on how much of a noisy bastard my cat is being, last night he woke me up every hour howling about nothing and then made me clean up barf at 3am.

Pictured: The noisy bastard, we love him.
