On work days, I try to get to bed between 4 and 6 so I can wake up on time (schedule is 2 am to 12 pm).

If you have enough willpower all-nighter to the next day mixed with caffeine crash is enough for me, but that only works so many times in a given period.
yeah either 24 hours+ and stop when it's new bedtime or dialing it backwards an hour or few a day over a week or so

4am but I work nights
When I get home it's like a video game and my energy meter is depleting, I end up crashing around that time so I try and hurry to do all my chores before then.

I work nights as well. I'm usually home by 11:15 and everyone else is asleep while I'm wired as fuck.

usually between 11 and 12, but I've been staying up too late for the last several weeks, a lot of nights where I don't go to bed til 1-2

My sleep has always been inadequate, if not nonexistent, especially the last couple of years. I'm not diabetic but I have a problem where my blood sugar spikes at around 4:30 AM and it's bad enough that once it happens there's just no chance of getting back to sleep. I'm either laying in bed feeling like I'm so thirsty I'm gonna die and unable to sleep as a result, or chugging water and just constantly walking back and forth to the bathroom every several minutes, also not sleeping as a result. Thankfully I recently discovered Berberine and it's been massive.

It's sold as a carb/sugar blocker but eating too many carbs/sugar wasn't/isn't really my problem, my sugar was spiking even during multi-day fasts and even my after-meal and A1C numbers are perfect. It's definitely helping my regulation at night, I don't wake up til about 6:30 now, and that's just for a normal morning leak and about half a glass of water

I'm jealous, I'm sleepy after work. My commute home is kind of long and I think it burns any energy I have left.

I try to go to bed to get 8 hours but I've been getting 4 for the past couple nights because I have had so much to do.

A little random, but this is just genuine curiosity. I've always been pretty fucked in the sleep department, in schedule, hours, and quality alike.
I suggest trying Melatonin. I take like 20mg because it doesn't affect me enough otherwise. I used to have this same exact problem.
Melatonin doesn't fix everything super simply but it does give you enough of an edge to make things better.

I can't go backwards only forwards and I would do the staying up all day and be tired during the day but I would become energetic as night rolled around.
Melatonin fixed this for me though.

I can go backwards about 30 mins a night which is enough to get to a normal time given enough days. It has improved my quality of life without a doubt.

About 1-3am. I don't clock in til afternoon time though. I get at least 10 hours sleep a day. As a lifelong night owl who hates mornings, I love my sleep/work schedule.

10pm preferably but mostly midnight unfortunately. Then I usually wake up around 2am or 3am and proceed to roll around awake until I need to go to work at 6.

I get up for work starting at 5:15am so I try to be asleep by 10-11pm. Depending on my mood/energy I might knock myself out earlier. I usually have a hard time getting to sleep so I resort to beer or a sleep aid.

I feel most refreshed in the morning if I go to sleep at 10 PM, but daylight saving fucks up my schedule for the next 1-2 months usually.

As an avid watcher/fan of Bossmanjack (He is a highroller gambler that gambles all throughout the day for those uninitiated) my sleep schedule is wholly dependent on a crack addicted fiend, somedays it may be 2 am others it could be 7 am! I have to keep my watchtime up as A true fan so often you can find me snorting cocaine and other elicit drugs just to stay attentive enough to catch each and every stream. I love bossman :) and i love wheel :)
