In the 2012 film version of the play version of Les Miserables the final scene of the movie after Valjean dies is him entering a purgatorial version of their failed revolution against the restored kingdom of France with his slained friends. As opposed to the ending of the musical where the stage actors come together in a we're in heaven ending. Watching the film again a couple of months ago got me thinking about Chaz and George Floyd Square again. When the participants of Chaz and George Floyd Square die does God send them to a purgatorial version of those two places?
