The absolute peak would be 2005 to 2010.

2005 and 2006 was when YTMND was at its peak popularity, 4chan was at its best, Youtube was brand new and forums were very healthy and active.

However 2011 to 2013 were pretty good as well, although YTMND had faded into obscurity by that point and 4chan had started to lose some of its luster, but the internet didn't really start to go to shit until of course Gamergate in 2014.

But yeah, 2005 to 2010 would be the absolute peak, it's a shame we weren't able to maintain how great the web was during those times.
