When was the best time for the Internet? - Forums, videos, people online, etc

The early to late 2000s. I'd say between 2000-2008 was the best time. Loading times for videos were crappy, sure, but the internet still felt unregulated and untamed then. Things still felt fresh and new. That's one reason I enjoy the Farms because it reminds me a lot of the old forums from back then, where you could actually have a community and recognize people, where you could say what you want without fear of being cancelled or have your private life ruined. The internet used to be a great place for meeting new people and sharing things. Then iPhones happened and normies discovered the internet...
