So I have saved up enough money for a vacation and I’m just not sure where it is should go, obviously Sri Lanka and any country in the second world is out of the question till a more stable political climate.

But what other options are there? I’ve been to Puerto Rico, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon so far, so any suggestions with pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.

Someone in some thread about Disney suggested Hershey town/park whatever in Pennsylvania as a really good amusement park. Plus surrounding historical interests.

The northern italian plain; visit the minor renaissance cities. Don't go to milan, venice, naples or rome. Siena, Verona, Florence, Lucca, Pisa are all good choices.

If you have the money and like nature then iceland is certainly worth it. Rent a truck and do a tour across and around the island.

If you want to stay cheap but safe then Poland or the baltics are pretty good.

If you have the income for it Bermuda was lovely as well and had a lot of old abandoned forts and ruins to go around in.
