I thought I would ask this knowledgeable and based forum where the hidden gem cities/towns are. I foolishly moved to a blue city, a sanctuary city at that, and feel awful for the horrors I am subjecting my girlfriend to on a daily basis. She deserves better, a place without homeless people and illegals who crowd the streets and run up to her car to wash her windows on the way to work.
Where are the great places to live? I am growing more turned off by cities as a whole, I don't like bars or clubs, I just want to experience nature and have a quiet place to live. City prices are also absurd, any outing costs 50-60 dollars minimum.
I would prefer a place with:
Low crime
Not a lot of black people
No homeless
No illegal immigrants
Republicans or Non-California types.
A small city vibe, a super small town would be too intimate for me.
I will do my own research, I just wondered if kiwis had the secret knowledge on where the actually good places to live are in America. Every article or statistics website will be biased or a lie, and ignore the things that actually shit up a city.
I was looking at Nashville, as it is "hip" but red. The nature of this forum is digging up dirt, so I was wondering if the same has been done for cities.
