I'm more into Commander than anything really. I feel it really allows a deck to flourish. I used to run a blue/white deck with my Commander as Daxos of Meletis, and my whole strategy was to make him unblockable so I could use the opponent's deck against them.

Also, discussion of decks suitable for your format(s) of choice.

Yeah, I couldn't include all of the Online formats in the poll. How does Pauper flow as a format?

I mean Pauper IRL. It was a format long before MtGO

I was playing before some members of the board were even born.

Commander looks like fun and reasonable since you don't have to buy 4 Tarmogoyf/Dark Confidants to succeed. I was putting a deck together for Kalia but then I got sent to China :'(. I play standard mostly because I got back into it during Theros block. Ravinica was shit but I'm looking forward to what KTK is bringing out.

Kaalia sounds like she'd make for an interesting deck. She's pretty much entirely offense-based.

A friend of mine has a ridiculously strong Commander deck built around Kresh the Bloodbraided. He's built this entire deck around killing every creature that's not his, and I've seen his Kresh hit as high as 50/50 before. I really have to look up another friend's deck setup, because it was an all-white deck, but holy fuck, we playtested it once and realized he had no idea what he was doing with it. By the end of the match the friend using his deck had literally 3000+ life because he kept doubling it over and over, and for every point of life gained he could distribute +1/+1 counters to any of his creatures.

I play standard because I'm boring, wasn't a big fan of EDH.
But when we feel like having fun and being dicks we play star, (I am of course the biggest dick of all playing green.)
