Which is worse: Left wing social policy or left wing economic policy?

For me it depends. If we're talking about a totalitarian regime like North Korea, then obviously economic policy is worse. However if we're talking about a more moderate version leftist economics, like pro union, pro social safety net, pro affordable healthcare etc. then I'm more inclined to side with that over cultural rot brought about by social policy.

Economic policy, only because people aren't quite as easily fooled by their social policy, but really, they're the same picture. Their economic policy is derived from social heirarchy, even when they try to dissolve the concept.

If you read any left-wing theorists they make pretty clear these are not to be separated. They're one and the same. When there's a monopoly that controls the means of production and literally all distribution it's obviously going to dominate social policy too. (Which is probably why these left-wing regimes abandon all the "liberal" aspects of their social policies pretty fast and start purging. Leftist economic policy will kill you fairly quickly. Starvation kills within a month or two. I wager that outside of the famine years (which really only occurred in the 90s after their biggest trade partner got fucked over and in the 50s during the Korean War and collectivization), your average North Korean is happier than your average South Korean. North Korean women don't mutilate their bodies with plastic surgery and don't glorify the United States and its culture unlike South Korean women. North Koreans might not own much, but they have a soul to their nation.

I think people focus too much on rich or poor and material possessions without keeping in mind that not everything in life is about materialism. It's ironic that although Marxism aims at improving the material life of people, it generally fails at that but instead preserves the soul of people.

leftwing social policy is the worst. Socialism can be managed. It's not easy but if your country is full of smart people it can be done. But there is nothing you can do about social and moral decline in your country. It's going to destroy it in the end. It only accounts for the poor people you have in your country. When you start bringing them in that's when things go bad. Just look at the US and Especially Europe.

Now if socialism is tried in a third world country full of low IQ shit skins it usually falls apart pretty quickly. Venezuela would be an example of this. It's not so much the socialism but the low IQ brown people that caused the problem. Their lack of intelligence and propensity for corruption is what caused the issues. Just look at Europe. They have been socialist since the end of WW2, and they still managed to keep it together. You never heard about people in France Germany or any other European country starving. This only happens in shitty third world countries full of shit colored low IQ goblins.

Then you have the US. We have had a capitalist economic system for hundreds of years. It's now failing. It didn't make it that far with the introduction of globalism in the post Cold War era.

Most people are economically liberal to a degree and socially conservative to a degree.

Socialism can be managed. It's not easy but if your country is full of smart people it can be done.

Developed countries (think most of Europe) should invest in the well being of their population. It worked well, having safety nets and not being barred from anything because you were born poor did help a lot. Taxpayers didn't want bums on the street and people who can't afford shit, so they were fine with social housing projects.

It was a good trade between having hungry, stinky homeless dudes with nothing to lose pushed to crime and someone who has a dwelling, some income and can afford to buy the bare minimum. The latter would actually have a chance to build up and become useful for society.

Disaster ensued when some very retarded people decided that all the rest of the world is OUR responsibility and sheltered low IQ animals from shithole countries, somehow thinking they will manage to behave like human beings. Fast forward until today.
