Which movie is better: Son of the Mask or Mac and Me?

cult classics
I've never seen someone describe Son of the Mask as a "cult classic" dafuq you been smoking? Just because it's got some animation in it doesn't mean it's a "cult classic".

I still can't believe I have brain cells dedicated to this thing, though...

The original Jim Carrey movie was a huge hit. The sequel didn't get as much attention, but has a smaller, loyal fanbase. Jamie Kennedy was a well-liked actor back then, at least before his E3 presentation.

I recall being a little disturbed by watching Mac & Me as a child, but not why.

The only thing I remember is a scene with windfarm towers at a time when they weren't as ubiquitous.

And something about pop tabs (unless that was ET).

Mac and Me, obviously. Name me another film in which a child in a wheelchair gets perforated by police officers.

They call it a cult classic because you'd have to be brainwashed by a cult to like it

Mac & Me demonstrates the magical life-saving abilities of Coca-Cola, has a dance scene in McDonald's with Ronald McDonald himself, and later the wheelchair kid gets merc'd by a cop. 10/10, I demand a new 4k remaster by Criterion and it's induction into the National Film Registry

Fucking knew it.

Son of the Mask can take on Goku. It's also the better movie. I haven't watched the other one.
