Big Tech and the MSM may be lib dominated now, but fewer and fewer people pay much attention to twitter, or the mainstream press by the day, while alternatives to the big names continue to grow. Barrack Obama had control of both houses of congress for his first two years in office too and he was both mentally sound and much more likeable then Joe Biden or Kamala Harris are or ever could be and he frankly didn't accomplish much.

I honestly don't think we're close to a one-party state at all unless you're referring to the fact that establishment Republicans and Democrats have more in common with each other then their constituents and that's been the case for a long time now.

What promises? He's a guy who won without having a platform anyone could readily identify besides not being the other guy. He had things on his site, but no one ever read them, him included. Before even coming into power he was both for and against stimulus checks, for and against fracking, for and against riots. There's things we know he'll do, but not because he promised them but because of who his cabinet is. In a sense his really is the most powerful presidency in ages because it's not bound by any expectations except 'not Orange Man'.

Nobody told me about this thread and I wasn't notified. I don't check deep thoughts very often :(
The thing is with Biden's day 1 pledges they were all starting processes or stuff he could do by EO. What he said for his day 1 promises wasn't stuff that would take time in courts, etc. So yea, Joe kept his very basic promises like I was thinking he would, but it's barely even a start.

Very frustratingly he even blocked the pipeline XL, which will just weaken America and Canada. I wish this got done when Trump was in office. I didn't expect Biden to go through with this.
Joe lived up to the stuff he said for his day 1 pledges, but his day 100 pledges are a lot bigger and I doubt he'll get to them all in time.
