Which state would you move to?

Any state that banned abortion, preferably a rural area. It may not be a particularly relevant issue for you, but it is highly relevant to leftists. Fewer will move to the state, and locals with leftist tendencies are more likely to fuck off to California or New York. Rural areas are less likely to comply with leftist edicts from the nearest bughive, so even if the state does get taken over, that will be an additional layer of security. Wherever you end up, get involved in local politics and support the people who will advance your interests, ie, sheriffs who won't enforce mask mandate or gun control, school boards that won't push leftist indoctrination, etc.

EDIT: fixed spelling
You got people from California and New York also moving to states like Texas, whether for job opportunities, or because it’s cheaper to live there, where abortion is illegal, but who knows if these people will change that so abortion is legal. You already got cities like Austin where stealing less than a certain amount is not a crime, a law you find similar in blue cities from blue states.

The Midwest so far has treated me well, I at least can afford rent and my other bills.

Mountain west states and eastern KY/TN are good options, but New Hampshire and Maine are going to be the ideal options as things deteriorate and the USA establishment/government transforms from light on the hill to South Africa 2.0. Always, always opt for the whitest area possible, and that’s northern New Hampshire and Maine. Among other benefits.

Keep in mind they were doing that prior to the ban. I suspect Texas suddenly looks a lot less like someplace you want to move if you are a Californian. I think this also goes for the megacorps the bugmen tend to work for. They will start avoiding the state, partly because they want to punish it for having the "wrong" ideas, but also, they face potential legal problems if they help their employees evade the law. Part of why I like that ruling, is I think that if this trend continues, we'll see the red and blue states start to separate economically, with companies run by conservatives moving to red states, and ones run by leftists moving to blue states. It isn't so much that it makes the place better immediately, it however, means the trajectory will start to change.

Even if that doesn't work, that is why I also suggested moving to a rural area and getting involved in local politics. Laws only exist if they are enforced, and if the county police ignore the edicts coming from the state capitol or the federal government, they may as well not exist.

I don't live in the US, and I'd prefer it to stay that way.

Idaho is looking pretty good rn, I'm in a shitty blue state, that's all I'll say.

Texas is nice. Too bad its hot as fuck. More north does get colder in the winter. But probably near Alberta. Montana, the Dakotas, Wisconsin.

Alaska. Save for mosquitoes, it sounds perfect.
