Haven't seen too many people blindly defending a woman in a desperate attempt to get nudes/sex/relationship (ya know the original internet definition). I have seen people throw around the term left and right on here any time someone defends something they don't like though.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that ED does that a lot (one example being how they referred to the people defending Kenny Glenn as “white knighting” him in their article on the subject). But even with that being said, words change over time. But I think white knight has sort of stood the test of time here, in that it’s consistently stayed it’s true meaning except for people who want to abuse its usage when they don’t know what the word means.

Well, think there are general white knights. Many self professed 'male feminists' would be an example. Doing 10/10 mental gymnastics to defend everything a woman does would be white knighting imo.

I agree that it's dumb reasoning on his part. But I really do think he's just rationalizing himself going out and doing whatever rather than white knighting for women.

Eh, seen some overly moralistic people in some threads, but nothing too severe and very little white knighting in the traditional sense (As in shielding thots and such). Usually, just people being humane. We're fucking kiwis, goddammit!
