Well that makes more sense. American soldiers having children with Vietnamese women was incredibly common. Bruce Springsteen even mentions it in a hit song.
IF that’s the case it’s pretty cold hearted of Babs to forbid contact. Ameriasian children in Vietnam were in danger after the fall of Saigon. Many were granted visa to come to the USA with their mothers to help protect them, but it was more difficult to do so without the assistance of the father. If the kid grew up in Vietnam shit would have been hard as hell for the child growing up.

These are details I remember, I'll see if I can find sources. But I think her name was Kiko or something similar? It wasn't a wham bam, but an actual relationship. Babs was also married before Glenn. Their children were not born until they were in they're late 30s or 40s, something like that. Here's the tea that was verified by reddit mods. Seems legit, everything adds up.

Here is the story as it was related to me by multiple ppl: Before Glenn went to Vietnam, he was seeing a woman that became pregnant with his child. When he returned, Babs refused to allow him either contact with the mother and child OR financial support (at all). The family, this past year, found out about the child, who is now grown and wants to get to know their father, Glenn. Because Babs is in rehab and Glenn has been reevaluating his life choices, esp where his children are concerned, it has become... not public knowledge, but the entire family is aware of it. Whitney WAS having a tantrum and wanted nothing to do with her new/older sibling and was especially upset over whether this sibling would be included in the will of Glenn. TLC had made it very clear to the cast that season ten was it, done, over. UNTIL she told them about the mystery sibling and gave them a reason to drag out another season. TLC still dgaf what Whitney said and instead went to Glenn. He approved the storyline. The mother and child in question wanted no part of this. TLC offered money, then more money, then a ridiculous amount of money if they would only go public (and, only on TLC) with their family heartache. Whitney, according to MULTIPLE family members, told the sibling that the only way SHE (Whitney) will ALLOW this person into Glenn's life is 1) if they were to go along with her reality show and 2) make no demands when Glenn and Babs pass on against "Whitney's" (Glenn and Babs') estate. The family, as I've said before, is beyond disgusted by Whitney and does not want this sibling and their mother exploited, esp after seeing how Whitney has done the same to Babs. They are also furious that she threatened this sibling that if they didn't do as she told them, she would not permit this person to ever be around Glenn-this person's fucking father. Members of the family want this to go public (obviously I have not spoken to every single one, but the ones who I have are in accord) for many reasons: they truly hate Whitney (not "jealous" or any of that; they despise her and what she has done to the family, including her cousins over the years), they want the show to end and most of all, they don't want this person and their mother dragged just so Whitney can use them to make ppl feel sorry for Her. Again, it was Glenn that gave the ok for reasons of his own ($$$) but it was Whitney who threatened this person if they didn't fall in line. As many times (hundreds) as ppl have wondered if she can possibly get any lower, she constantly proves she can. And, TLC is right along with her.

Glenn's disgusting. I don't really think the people who had no say in innocent children being abandoned by their fathers deserve much flack here, but a man who abandoned half of his children and ruined the other half should probably either kill himself or turn over a new leaf.

Last year I was on a couples trip with my husband’s friends and somehow the topic of fat/out-of-shape personal trainers came up. One of the other wives said “well what about Whitney Way Thore? She’s a great personal trainer, she’s healthy and active but she can’t lose weight because of her PCOS!”
