Who do you think will run after Trump?

On one hand the Donald is fat enough that normal people won't have to run to catch up with him but on the other hand the Bern is old and slow enough that trying to keep up will definitely require him to run. Tis definitely a philosophical question that you pose.

I assume his eldest living son will ascend to the throne. Unless, by then, he has chosen to abdicate to enter the ecclesiarchy, in which case it will be his eldest male heir.

Either that or Hillary Clinton.

I hope someone younger, that actually has new ideas and a plan. Of course we won't get that, we'll get brand friendly safe old man, or another insane douche.

How do you counter someone who's entire persona is "double-dealing scumbag"?

Assuming that he doesn't get caught up in any scandals or dies, then I'd say JD Vance is so far the obvious favourite for the Republican candidacy at the next US election. However it's still very early days and you never know if or when a dark horse candidates comes in out of nowhere and just takes over, much like Trump himself did in 2016.

Regardless of who it is though, I think it will almost certainly be another Trumpist as I struggle to see a future where the corporate Republicans make a comeback, unless Trump seriously fucks up this term and leaves the US as a whole worse off than it was under Biden. But that is a seriously low bar to reach given how chaotic the Biden administration was due to Joe's cognitive incapacity as well as the extent of corruption within the Democrat party.

As for the Dems, it's way too early to tell as they're still licking their wounds and cannibalising one another for power following last year's defeat. Their big problem is that there currently isn't really anyone viable for a leadership position that doesn't have a history of being either horrifically corrupt and incompetent, like Gavin Newsom, or batshit insane, like AOC.

Kind of cart before the horse.

They have to put up a candidate they think has the best chance of winning in 2028, and the factors that decide elections have yet to occur. Usually 6 weeks prior, maybe less.

There's no telling. Both parties are mid implosion. The vast majority of Republicans hate Trump and will abandon his retard crusade as soon as he's gone, which will cause a full divorce of the schizo and wannabe brown shirt wing from the GOP. Meanwhile the Democrats are, as usual, participating in a circular firing squad because the moderates, progressives, and socialists can only agree that Trump bad, and refuse to develop a coherent policy.

Barron Trump.

There needs to be an upper age limit for presidency. Psychopathic elderly men don’t care about shit because they’re nearly dead.

probably Vance, thats who they seem to be lining up as the successor, gonna be a lot harder for the Mainstream Media to seethe about him properly given the fact that Vance doesnt have as good of a ring as Trump
Barron Trump.
i want this to happen eventually, as soon as hes 35 he should honestly run
