The title may seem weird and morbid and maybe it is, but I’m scared the west will go the way of Japan in terms of this based on the trends and events i’m seeing.

The forever-Pandemic, the lack of a substantial community for many, less and less basic social interaction, no intimacy, abysmal economic situation (inflation, debt, housing prices etc.), and a generally feeling that we’re fucked and that they’re going to have to be the generation who has the responsibility of unfucking us. My worry is that young people will decide life is too bleak and more trouble than its worth and check out altogether.

It's not the Zoomers I'm really concerned about- it's the next generation currently in elementary school who had a good chunk of their early education fucked over by the coronavirus lockdowns and will live their entire lives in "the new normal". It's like how Gen Xers often pity millennials and zoomers for never living in the (apparent) golden age of the 90's- but also with elements of the "lost generation" that got fucked over by WW1.

P.S. when I say "the new normal" I'm not just talking about coronavirus- more specifically I am referring to the "post-NATO" world. Maybe people who never grew out of their punk phase in high school, and only realized too late that focusing on this lifestyle can close off many doors? Druggies? People who attempted suicide and fucked up their body in the process? Saying that, you don't quite have the SRS body horror and infertility. Most don't get surgeries or use cross sex hormones. Those that do, however, lose the ability to climax, or severely limit it, making it much more difficult than it ought to be.

That alone ought to account for more than 41 percent, which is bullshit, which is why you don't see trannies necking themselves from every streetlamp.

The ones who don't get the surgery are probably going to come out as gay or bi, eventually, once it's "cool" again.
