Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

If I remember correctly, Maroon confesses someone wanted to buy his property - he never actually says it was Doom [he says “Cloverleaf”, but doesn’t know who is actually behind that entity] - but only if Acme sold his as well. Maroon appears to be the guy who hatched the plot to blackmail Acme, only for him to end up dead by Doom’s hand and for Maroon to use Eddie Valliant to point the police toward Roger [desperately hoping that his blackmail attempt wouldn’t be seen in a darker light]. So while the ultimate answer can be somewhat ambiguous, Maroon is the person most directly responsible.

I can't be sure, but I'm starting to think the OP doesn't want to hear the right answer and that this thread is an attempt to troll. Important questions such as "Who really framed Roger Rabbit?" deserve to be taken seriously, while this thread is nothing but eighth-grade humor and puerile innuendo. For shame.
