Who's responsible for the state of modern CWC? - A discussion.

I've said it before, but CWC is isolated in a hoard house with only Barb to keep him company.

He's been messed up for a long time before his father died and Barb's hoarding reached critical mass. And his isolation has a lot to do with the fact that his bizarre (and occasionally violent and threatening) behavior has likely made him a pariah in the local community.

One thing I always come back to with Chris is that he has no sperg friends. Chris grew up in the late 90's and played Pokemon, and he wasn't the only one doing that. Manchester High more than likely had a group of outcast teens who met up to play Pokemon with their Game Boy cables. Chris was probably made aware by an outside influence that those kids were uncool or slow in da mind, and he was surrounded by pretty neurotypical girls instead. Chris should have had some sperg friends. He has tried to befriend Meghan and Waterman, but Meghan had to become Chris's sweetheart and Waterman couldn't become a sweetheart. So basically Chris has no use for friends unless it results in a girlfriend. That's his biggest problem, and it's mostly Borb's fault since they enlisted the Gal Pals in high school. It seemed so innocent but it warped Chris's perception of how other people think and how friendships are made.

I don't know, Chris's selfishness borders on sociopathy. We don't know a lot about his highschool life but we also don't have much reason to believe he was any better adjusted then than he is now.

Chris was raised to be a self entitled little whiner By Borb, when the trolls found him it was new so he wouldn't of known what to do. But after a while Chris never learned how to behave on the internet and continued spewing shit at the trolls. Honestly if Chris had stopped for just a minute to think about how much of a (man) child he was being we might not have Modern CWC. I don't blame the trolls because so many people get trolled on the internet and learn how to deal with it. even with autism he should have atleast learn some discipline.

I think Chris' parents tried to protect him from real world trolls by giving him a sense of self-importance, the idea that he matters to the world and those around him, so that he would be better equipped to stand up for himself. I think they viewed it as a kindness, and good parenting. Unfortunately, his isolated upbringing (as an only child, especially) and further isolation as an adult only serves to feed his "center of the universe" mentality.

If Chris had spent more time in college, around adult peers, he may have fared better.

Has to be "all of the above". He truly is a perfect storm of dysfunction. He brings a lot on himself, but honestly he never had a chance due to his circumstances and environment. If you baked a cake with wrong measurements, spoiled ingredients, wrong time/temperature for baking, then the cake turns out awful, why didn't the cake turn out right? "All of the above". That's Chris in a nutshell.

Obviously his autism has been an obstacle. His parents were part unequipped and part in denial of his issues and how to address them effectively. I think Bob did his best, but he was from a time that was less aware of mental health issues. Barb appears to be a complete narcissist, and a child even without Chris's issues would possibly have been damaged by being raised by her. Narcissists can be just downright horrible, evil fucking people. I have one in my life that I just absolutely loathe beyond any possible words. Gov't/state, maybe there could be more resources or a better mental health system, but the level of awareness in the past just wasn't what it is nowdays.

I don't know what to think about the trolling, as far as it's effects on him. I do not agree with bullying, but at the same time Chris brought a lot of things on himself, and this is one issue where I do put the blame 100% on his parents. As soon as they became aware of the trolling, they should have limited and monitored his use of the internet. If they would have taken that step right away, and got their phone number changed when the first prank calls starting coming in, they would have avoided a huge, huge amount of it. Unfortunately they chose to use video games and the internet as a babysitter for him, and to keep him occupied and out of their hair. However on the other hand, the trolling was basically his only connection to people outside of that household. After he got banned from the Game Place and Megan cut him off, the trolls were pretty much his only connection to the outside world. I don't think the "lesbian tomgirl" thing would have happened without the trolling. Otherwise I don't think his life would be a whole lot different if he never dealt with it. He'd probably still just be living at home, playing video games, doing the sweetheart search, not working. None of those things are effects of trolling, that is the lifestyle he chooses for himself. He is capable of more, but simply chooses not to apply himself.

I also don't think he's as dumb as a lot of people think he is. He'll never take my title of "World's Smartest Man" but he can be pretty shrewd at times. Reading the transcript of the "father call" and some of his emails/other phone calls...there are many times when you could see that he answers questions with what he feels is the "right answer", or what he thinks the person wants to hear, knowing it's not the truth. The guilt trips he put on Wallflower and Catherine, he was pretty manipulative. And you know he learned that being raised by a narcissist in Barb. He's also shrewd enough to fall back on "austism" as an answer for his shortcomings because he feels that's a safe answer that people aren't allowed to question. He uses "autism" as an excuse when it's convenient, other times he brags about how high functioning he is, and all the ways that he's overcome it.

He's a pretty lousy cake, but it's not just because the eggs were expired.

The thing that most damaged Chris though is probably his parents not getting him help because they would be ashamed to have a 'stupid' kid. Chris could have turned out so much better had he gotten the help he needed at a young age but his parents really screwed him over with that. They've screwed him over at all points of his life, not forcing him to strive for anything or get a menial job, but they most screwed him at the beginning. The trolls didn't help Chris' mindset but ultimately Chris himself has made many decisions in this modern era that have been horrendous.

Most of Chris' life has been about prostituting himself in one form or another (Sonichu and other crap). I do not know personally about gender dysphoria, but from what I do understand is that people have actually mutilated their genitals and breasts because of their dysphoria. Chris mutilated his taint to cover up the fact that he knew he was lying to a bunch of lesbians.

Chris' response to gender is purely reactionary (in my opinion). Chris has shown on several occasions that he does not understand what it means to be self-conscious about anything, and since dysphoria is a highly specialized version of self-consciousness, I doubt he knows what it means, even in relation to himself. Even his friend Kengle doubts him saying something along the lines of "I do not know if Chris even knows transgender is." As well, Chris has even called himself intersexed without even knowing the meaning of the word at the behest of a troll.
Even Marvin has described Chris as somewhat of an automaton, meaning he is easily suggestible and programmable. (people along the lower ASD spectrum are usually like that)

I do not wan to turn this into a huge debate, but yes Chris has had feminine leanings, but his masculine leanings always have weighed out his feminine tastes.

I know that some may not agree with me, but there have actually been books written about autism and gender and there is a general consensus that a lot (not all) but a lot of people on the mid to lower end spectrum just do not understand it. , If Gender has to do with self-awareness and society, which means that gender like personality takes the entire brain to be able to understand and enact.
