Racist: Autism again, I once called an Islamic Taxi Driver a Terrorist when I was a child because I was terrified of his beard, and I also once called probably a Jewish Taxi Driver a Norwegian, he drove off offended, but I implied that Norwegians were awesome, not, ‘’If you are Norwegian go to hell’’. And I did say that the Indians were Religious as well.


Basement-Dwelling: It’s not his fault, it’s his parents, they allowed him to live like that.


Homophobic: Autism, I used to be a Homophobe, but one of my relatives is homosexual, so I’m not a Homophobe. It’s his Autism that causes it and he watches stuff that causes it as well.


Pedophile: Where the fuck did this come from? It’s only something Encyclopedia Dramatica implies to Troll him.

Disgusting: Chris can’t help his Incontinence, and yes, while it may be disgusting, he still can’t help it.


Monthly Tugboat: I Receive DLA or PIP, and so does a friend of mine and people insult him for spending Tax Money on stuff like Donuts and that, he has chosen to eat Healthier, but like Chris Chan, his parents don’t care for him much. People think he is more intelligent than he is.


Crossdressing and Transgender: It’s OK to be Transgender, just like it’s OK to be a Homosexual, and also Chris can’t help it, because he does have autism.


Chris Chan’s Parents are the fault here, they allowed him to live this way because in the 1990s, in USA, there is no EHC plan, and while there are specialist schools and psychiatrists like the one’s I go to, Chris Chan’s parents never bought in to the idea, literally as it costs money and they just didn’t cared. Had Chris Chan’s Parents did this, he probably would be a successful man who isn’t insulted. People who say that Chris are those above things are just mean spirited people who want to troll him.

The way people Trolled him included pretending to be a potential Girlfriend, which is pretty horrible because he wanted one, and he’s heartbroken, then he pretends it never happened due to his Autism, if Chris was educated properly, he probably would understand true love. He also has a Neighbour who has a wife and is respectable, while Chris will probably die alone with no one loving him.

I know you've been ridiculed to hell and back but uh...you ARE aware Chris is reaching his forties right? As bad as I feel for him, he's an adult who COULD function normally in society, and has been that way for awhile. Didn't the court find him competent to go through with his trials? He's had a good handful of nice, well meaning people who have tried to help him, and he treated them awfully. There IS a point where one has to start taking responsibility for their actions, mental illness/bad parenting or no.

The Internet Lumberjack's Death could have been a major turning point for Chris. It could have forced him into metamorphosis and we could have seen someone grown into a somewhat more functional autist in society. He wouldn't have been perfect, but certainly more self-reliant and way less of an embarrassment.

But no. Barb coddled him right at the most vulnerable, transitive stage. I lay the blame squarely on Borb.

In a better world, someone like Chris wouldn't even exist or would be rehabilitated easily. His parents raised him poorly and enabled his bad behavior while failing to teach him that other people have feelings too which is a lesson you really need to impart upon an autistic child. The state is certainly to blame too since school and psychiatric systems are pretty poorly equipped to handle autistic individuals. People on the spectrum have a different set of needs than the average "special education" student so lumping them in SPED classes hurts them but keeping them mainstreamed can be a problem too. The trolls made things worse but I agree that he was already on his way down mentally. Chris himself is something of a troll anyway, albeit more of the masochistic variety. There are sadistic trolls (most of his tormentors) who go after someone because they have a vendetta against them or are just an easy target to mess around with and then there are masochistic trolls who will say something fucked up just to be hated on, since they're so starved for attention in their pathetic personal lives that even the negative attention is preferable to the void of no attention. Some of Chris' behavior definitely fits snugly into the latter category. I always thought the more IRL trolling especially the "fake date" stuff was quite despicable though and went too far.

And ultimately though, at the end of the day, Chris has mainly himself to blame. Having autism is a real mental burden and it's hard enough, nowadays, with this fucked up economy, for even a moderately skilled normie to make it in this world and have a decent enough job where they can make ends meet. But if he had handled life with a little more tact, had a bit more shame and embarrassment over his actions and even *tried* to understand other people and how they feel he wouldn't have half the problems he does. It's hard to put my finger on what exactly is wrong with him because most autistic people learn from their mistakes after getting in enough nasty altercations and realize that other people have feelings too. It's really sad actually and he is a pitiable figure. He is utterly incapable of forming any sort of connection with another human being now and has not a friend in a world. I dread what is going to happen to him after Barb dies and wonder if he may finally snap and either commit suicide or try to pull a Rodger or something.

I'd say it's a cocktail of all of the above, but Borb is the prime suspect. If nothing else, they are a text book example of what not to do as parents when you have a child with autism or some kind of mental impairment.

I wonder if he has any other mental issues, like mild narcissism, or if Borb just really fucked up raising their kid and its too late to fix shit now unless he's taken to a home or something. Because like you said, most autistic people aren't...dumb, or unwilling to change, just a little oblivious. I know he went to a school required mental health examination, but I have my doubts on how thorough that was...it'd be interesting to see what one would say after a couple months to a year of counseling. I imagine it would be a fascinating read.

Too bad Chris will never agree to that. And also, you know, HIPPA laws and such.
