I'd say mostly Chris himself. He's spent so long trying not to grow up and act like a grown adult man, he's reverted into what he thinks a woman is; soft, sweet and girly.

Little does he know, most women are cold-blooded bitches deep down. Still, he could never toughen up. A mean babysister, bullies, trolls and losing his own father didn't do anything, so he gave up. It's not because he truly wanted to be a girl, it's because he could never truly be a man. He's still a little boy who's never buckled down and at least done the bare minium of a part-time job, keeping his house clean or even taking care of his pets. At this point, he knows enough that he could improve his life up to a level of at least one of the aforementioned things. But why? No one but internet folks are looking and what does he care of them unless he can get money off of them. The saying is that Chris is his own biggest troll and ruins his own life; and I believe it.

The problem is Chris is completely shitty even at what he's obsessed with. His problem is universal incompetence.

Oh there's no denying that. But I feel part of said incompotence stems from Borb as well. They could have intervened at anytime. They could have been resonable and forced their son to do something with his life.

But with how everything turned out (shitty babysitter [if true]; old age; Barb's hoarding problem; Bob's old-fashioned values), it's no wonder Chris turned out the way he did. He was practically doomed from the start. And that's before getting into how they treated Cole or Bob's two kids.

At the end of the day Chris is responsible for Chris. His autism, the trolls or even his new found gender aren't the cause of Chris being Chris.
Each adult person is responsible for their own well being and he too could make a change, same as all of us.

Some people might have said this already but here is what i think, the modern state of chiristan is his parents fault. They took him away from school because his father (god bless) didn't want him to be in a special ED class. If he had gone to that class he might have ended up for the better with proper help.

But there is a downside with special ed class it could also make him worse. But its still better than homeschooling him and making him unable to interact with other people, and that is really important in young age while your still growing.
And lets be honest. After the video showing his whole house it was like a hoarder house full of junk and shit so i think Barb and his father (god bless) had some serious issues.
And his view on gay people and other men could have a direct link with his parents and church.

I never wanna be the kid that blames the parent for every mistake that has ever happen but major things could have been avoided if Chris have had better parents.

My take is that Chris has a disability. He is autistic and has diagnosed mental issue. Blaming Chris for all of his eccentricities is like blaming a guy who having a strange walk when he has always lived with a curved spine.

The guilty parties are barb and Bob. Both of them deliberately shielded Chris from any help to treat his conditions. Left unchecked his condition grew worse.

Yes, there is an element of Chris himself being a terrible person however he never stood a chance when the people charged with acting in his best interests went so far as to move and change school systems to prevent Chris from getting the help that might have prevented the current pathetic condition he is in.

Honestly for modern Chris it is all Chris himself and his autism not allowing him to understand and recognize very key flaws in his persona nor the consequences of his repeat actions. I agree, but just like Chris can choose to do the right thing and pay the bills every month, he can also course correct. If Chris knows that he is ugly, then he should not make himself even uglier by dressing up like a 5-year-old girl with severe brain damage and a case of never-ending mud butt. I know that a lot of people may not agree with me, but my thoughts are that Chris is trapped in that phase where he and Sarah Nicole banHammer were childhood friends. It sounds like Chris idolized Hammer and was probably envious that she had a functioning brain, beauty, and parents that were clued into her life.

On the contrary, his parents raised him to believe that he was the victim of everything around him (Green County, Matthew Noble Call, etc) and encouraged him to use his autism as a crutch (Monthly Tugboat). The proper mental care would have at least taught him to be a functioning member of society.

You expressed how I feel about Chris better than I could do it myself.
I would probably add something about the internet, but even then the blame ultimately falls on Borb. Once trolling started, they should have cut Chris off the internet completely or at least greatly limited it for him. They didn't do that, because there were too old to understand the damn thing.
