What it says on the title. Usually they're all open for further responses, but recently I've noticed that the majority of the threads on the first page of the CWC Subforum has been locked down for some reason. There's also been some inactivity on the subforum itself. Are we done with CWC or something?

because @The American Hedgehog is an autist who needs everything kept in perfect order or he'll go into fetal position on the floor and his caretakers will have to spend three hours comforting him back to normalcy.

Because only Hellblazer will ever truly be able to clean up shit.

Subforum hasn't been shut down and Chris is far from being done for. Staff is in the process of figuring out a compromise between preserving discussion possibilities and accessibility to Chris updates.

One of the mods did those thread locks, at the same time he merged the Gamindustri/Nazi threads into Random Updates (the idea being to starve the new troll of attention). I dunno why he wanted to lock the other threads, though.

Chris is a pants-shitting-retard so many of the posts are shitposts
some even intentionally

Why don't the mods just delete the bad posts and leave the threads open?
They do if you report them.

But if the thread topic itself is bad they're just going to lock it. Or if it degenerates. Although I wish they'd bring a lighter touch to the latter because it punishes those who would like to make a good post.

With enough time all internet threads will degenerate but they can be guided back by attentive staff and we already have so many. Locking a thread because the last few posts were bad just sounds lazy.

I think the best thing would be how it was for a while and put updates in their own single-post threads in a subforum with a link to a discussion thread.
