I don't intend on being the Muslim guy who posts about Islam on KiwiFarms (despite my post history I actually like laughing at trannies more than being informative), but your question has a legitimate theological answer and I feel somewhat compelled to lay it out.
The reason you see the Muslims in such a weak and humiliated state is a direct result of their lacking in adhering to Islam in the fashion that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his Companions (May Allah be pleased with them) practiced. In the time of the Prophet ﷺ and the first three generations of Muslims, Islam spread across the world rapidly; The Muslims despite their few numbers in comparison to their enemies were victorious and in a position of Strength, casting fear into the hearts of the disbelievers. This was because of their firm adherence to the Qur'an and the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ based on the understanding of his Companions.
Then, slowly but surely the plot of Iblees and his helpers was put into place; the trial of doubts and desires began to descend upon the ummah of Muhammad ﷺ, and they began to split into sects and compete with each other over the worldly life and its possessions. When once they had been one body united upon the Truth, they had now begun to split and become weak as a result.
This weakness is explained in a narration by The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said:
"The nations are about to call each other and set upon you, just as diners set upon food."
It was said: "Will it be because of our small number that day?"
He ﷺ said:
"Rather, on that day you will be many, but you will be like foam, like the foam on the river. And Allah will remove the fear of you from the hearts of your enemies and will throw wahn (weakness) into your hearts."
Someone said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is wahn?"
He ﷺ said: "Love of the world and the hatred for death."
Sahih: Related by Abu Dawud (no. 4297)
Some evidence of this general thesis comes from the hadith of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) who narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:
إِذَا تَبَايَعْتُمْ بِالْعِينَةِ وَأَخَذْتُمْ أَذْنَابَ الْبَقَرِ وَرَضِيتُمْ بِالزَّرْعِ وَتَرَكْتُمُ الْجِهَادَ سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ ذُلاًّ لاَ يَنْزِعُهُ حَتَّى تَرْجِعُوا إِلَى دِينِكُمْ
“When you partake in usury, hold on to the tails of cattle, become satisfied with cultivation and abandon Jihād, Allah will send upon you humiliation and He will not remove it until you return back to your religion.”
Sahih: Related by Abu Dawud (no. 3462)
Thus, as we observe the history of the Muslims over these past 14 centuries, we see a continued deterioration in their religious adherence and condition as a result. But, as we see with the Crusades and the Mongols, there are moments of revival where decades and centuries of humiliation are reversed and the Muslims attain a great victory through religious rectification.
Now, if we take this understanding and apply it to the state of the Muslims in this day and age, it will not be a mystery why we are in this position.
When it comes to Palestine specifically, there's a lot that can be said, but the main takeaway is this: Victory will not come from begging the disbelievers for mercy in the form of protests and demonstrations, nor will it come from political parties forming. It will come from one and only one solution: In the words of Imam Malik (one of the four great Imams of Islam), “Nothing will reform the latter of this nation except what reformed the beginning of it.”
Keep in mind however, this is concerning the state of the Muslims in this worldly life. When it comes to the Day of Judgement, there is no comparison with the condition of the people of Tawhid (Islamic Monotheism i.e: those that Worship Allah Alone without associating any partners with Him in Worship) and the people of Disbelief (those that associate partners with Allah in Worship).
78:40
Verily, We have warned you of a near torment - the Day when man will see that (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say: "Woe to me! Would that I were dust!"
