Why are so many of the most annoying lead singers so short?

My man Daryl Hall is 6'1. It's the main reason why John Oates hates him so much now. Manlets can't compete.

I always assumed they were just scorned gay lovers.

Doesn't this seem like something a deeply closeted homo would say to compensate?

John Oates is a decent looking guy. The mustache kinda ruins it though. He shaved it off for a number of years and looked much better. Daryl Hall is the blonde pretty boy. But from what I've heard Oates is the nicer person. Too bad they hate each other now.

I guess it's easy to not realise now just how huge these guys were. Even if you're a little guy with a big 'ol pornstache you will be slaying mad beaver if you're a popular singer.

Bruce Dickinson and Brian Johnson are also great singers despite being short.

Also, Paul Simon is 5'3".

He was married to Carrie Fisher for a bit. I don't know how that fits into this scheme, I just think it's an oddity that she slept with Harrison Ford but married Paul Simon.

I run my own car repair garage and me and my mate Big Dave love taking the piss out of manlets. We've set the customer service desk at about 5ft tall, so that manlets are basically resting their chin on it. There's a 3 inch platform on our side for added affect. Also, there are some numbered hooks on the wall where my customers can collect their keys from when they come back for their cars. I've deliberately fixed them quite high up the wall so manlets can't reach them. It's hilarious watching their little legs jump up and down. My mate and I always make sure the drivers seat of their car is slid as far back as it will go too just to humiliate them further.

I tell you, if Bono or Thom Yorke ever come to my garage for a new radiator or gear box, they're definitely getting the treatment.

How bout Dio? He was a great singer but rather "opinionated" from what I've heard, and a fucking midget.

He is opinionated but very articulate and professional in expressing his opinions. Love listening to him talk, very intelligent and kind.

I agree with him on how his tenure with Black Sabbath was handled poorly and even insultingly since they expected him to be cool with Sabbath being an opening act for one of Ozzys many """"farewell"""" tours, only to then decide to do a reunion with Ozzy and still expect Dio to be the bands lead singer afterwards iirc.

Worked out though as I vastly prefer his solo stuff over his two Sabbath albums.
