Because it has always been this way. Since the 1990s, the internet usually attracts alot of people outcasted from mainstream society. Contrary to ”mainstream beliefs”, the reason why neo-nazis and coomers join unmoderated corners of the internet is not because they are hated by everyone else, but because they are outcasted from mainstream society for their belief. Same with Atheists in 1990s-2000s, many of them are outcasted from societies because they were in fundie areas, and have used the internet to seek out like minded people.
The modern anti-woke people are terminally online because they are outcasted from societies because they were in areas infected by the woke left, and have used the internet to seek out like minded people.
In the future, the people speaking out against “Christian Nationalism” and “Traditionalism” will most likely be terminally online because they are outcasted from societies because they were in areas where the trads have a strong grip and they will use the internet to seek out like minded people.
