It's ten times easier these days to utterly fail as a man, and the threshold for that has only increased as the cost of success has become more and more skewed these days. Disproportionately so, you might say. At one point you were expected to carry on or deal with it. Financial failing, emotional failing, sexual failing ( especially so ). If you suddenly found yourself having that convenient exit door that can scare people around you into accepting you and memory hole your failed identity out of 'respect'; the only question to ask is how much self respect you have by that point against taking it.

Well apparently it wasn't and transitioning ruined his life, more or less.

I can see what you are saying: instead of accepting you are a freaky, kinky, failed man, you basically set your hair on fire, burn your past identity with it, and start over as a she-male.

I guess that is a way of hitting the reset button on your relevance.

I think there is a minor need for LGB movement for lack of better term. Having unusual sexuality does have effects on life even with perfectly accepting society. Figuring sexuality out, finding dates, what to do when having sex, coming out without being idiot about it, feeling outsider among the straights, how go about having kids and so on. Most of these aren’t life destroying or anything huge but still issues. I think it’s similar to having minor medical condition like allergies or really sensitive skin. You don’t really need support but it’s nice talk about issues with others that really get it and have resources solve common problems.

Unfortunately this minor need also means minor passion so it’s fairly easily co-opted by others with more drive. Ts have more to gain, in fashion and filled with mentally unstable people and fetishizt. Of course they have taken over, talk over sexualities and annoying the hell out LGB. Especially since many demands of the T go against what’s good for the sexual minorities.

I mean, by this point it's the only conclusion that really seems to make sense, unless you want to count fetishism as being the core of the decision making process. I don't believe every single Troon was an AGP from the moment they put a dress on in their childhood, but I do believe that desperate people are inclined to sacrifice their self respect and health for the easiest roads to social standing and respect. Especially so if they couldn't get it as men.

The trans community is extremely insulated for that matter. Asking questions and providing scientific basis beyond the pre-approved list of woke opportunists getting paid to entertain their delusions is punishable by total death of your social identity. A stain that marks you as a heretic in the eyes of the culture. But none of these people know that until they're too dug in; on the outside, it's this magical safe zone of perfect love, tolerance, and acceptance where you'll be protected from the person you USED to be, just chop it off and take the pill!

None of these people know the truth of what they're in for, because if anybody openly admits it then the orbiters, profiteers, and industry that's built around it would have collapsed under its own weight by now. Solidarity has become the cancerous tumor binding everybody together, those in the know shut their mouths and those who don't are quickly smeared and torn down when they realize what a disasterous mistake they've made.
