First time I've ever heard this term apart from bankers about homes and mortgages. What possessed them to start screwing with it and turning it into one of their orwellian code words now?
Because Progressives/WokeFags/Democrats ruin the meaning of words and then move onto a new one when normies start to call them out on it.First time I've ever heard this term apart from bankers about homes and mortgages. There's already a punishment for the successful, it's called taxes.Because they don't want equality, most everyone is fine with equality and have been for a long time, it's the status quo now. A big part of equity is achieving what they perceive as justice, which means whites (and asians?) must be punished for their race, and the successful aside from the elite shitbags must be punished for their success.
As George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health explains, recognizing the difference between equality and equity is important in just about every sphere of life: public health, politics, education, racial justice, and more. If each public school in a certain county receives 150 new laptops, that’s technically equal. But it doesn’t factor in that some of those schools might be located in high-income districts where most of the students already have their own laptops. Instead, officials should allocate the devices according to which schools have the greatest need for them—that way, they can minimize the chance that dozens of laptops will end up gathering dust at one school, while another doesn't have enough to go around.
To summarize, equality is about dividing resources in matching amounts, and equity focuses more on dividing resources proportionally to achieve a fair outcome for those involved.
It's crazy how a movement that started less than 8 years ago is close to essentially taking control of the entire country. They're setting the legal standard that would allow BLM to come to your house and take it under color of law. Not only would the police (if they exist) not doing anything, they'd actively prosecute you if you so much as get in BLM's path.
